The table is made of carved oak with a shaped back and gallery centred by a Green Man mask.The Green Man is a motif found in art and architecture, often depicting a face surrounded by or made from leaves.
The oak table is from the Victorian era, dating to the late 19th century, around the 1860s to 1880s.
It has a rectangular top, a carved apron, and heavily carved forelegs.The carving on the legs and apron includes foliate and floral patterns.Tables of this style were often used as hall tables or side tables.
