Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Scent Bottle (1908)
This exquisite Edwardian-era scent bottle is a beautiful example of Art Nouveau design and craftsmanship. Dated to 1908, this piece features a faceted glass bottle housed within a stunning, intricately decorated sterling silver sleeve. The silver casing, made by the renowned Birmingham silversmith Henry Matthews in 1908, is beautifully chased with elegant Art Nouveau swags and bows, a classic motif of the period.
The bottle has its original stopper with a cork and a small silver ring at the top.
In very good condition, there is a bubble in the glass of the bottle, which can only be seen when out of the sleeve.
