This is a really clean example. It is in perfectly aged and coloured quarter drawn oak – showing the high quality oak grain. It retains the original Gunn makers label, together with the Angus stamp. This four-section stacking bookcase has all of its original pull handles in brass, complete with wear, commensurate with its age. All sections have ‘up and over’ opening doors
The Gunn Furniture Company originated in Grand Rapids Michigan. Founded by William S Gunn, a furniture workshop was added to his hardware products in 1874. The company passed to his son, William A Gunn after his death in 1909.
