Chinese Flambé Glazed Porcelain Bottle Vase – Late Qing C1900-1911
A beautiful Chinese porcelain bottle vase featuring a dramatic, high-fired flambé (transmutation) glaze.
The vase has a classic bulbous body and slender neck silhouette. The rich glaze beautifully mixes soft celadon/teal with deep russet/plum tones, creating a complex, mottled, and glossy surface.
The base carries an underglaze blue, square Qianlong four-character seal mark (1736-1795). While the mark indicates the famous emperor, the vase itself is likely a fine, high-quality decorative item dating from the Late Qing Dynasty (19th Century) - around 1900-1911, when such imperial-style marks were frequently used.
