A rare and ingenious example of Danish Mid-Century Modern engineering, this 'Elevator' table was designed by the prolific Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Trioh Møbler in the 1960s.
Celebrated for its metamorphic capabilities, this piece is the ultimate solution for versatile modern living. It functions seamlessly as a low, elegant coffee table and, with a simple lift-and-lock mechanism, transforms into a full-height dining table. The design is further enhanced by two lateral draw-out extension leaves, allowing the surface to expand to accommodate up to six diners.
The table showcases Kristiansen’s signature attention to detail, featuring a vibrant, book-matched teak grain, sculpted solid teak edges, and the sturdy craftsmanship synonymous with Trioh’s golden era of production.
