A fantastic lot of three (3) matching individual Snack Sets featuring the highly collectible and iconic Beswick 'Circus' pattern, dating from the 1950s.
Each set consists of a large, scalloped Snack/Hostess Plate and a matching Cup that fits securely into the plate's recess. The design showcases a whimsical, hand-painted style with prancing turquoise horses ridden by acrobats and high-flying trapeze artists, accented by geometric red lines.
This pattern is a perfect example of 1950s Retro design and this lot is ideal for serving snacks or coffee in true mid-century style.
Plates - 9.5 x 8.5 inches and approx 1 inch high. Cups - 3 x 3 and base is 1.5 inches.
